We have perfected various formulas using a multitude of methods over 25 years as professional rabbit controllers. As a rule, much of our day to day work is ferreting with nets with the aid of our trained detection dogs and in most instances this will allow us to remove over 90% of resident rabbits in most locations. Some areas will benefit from rabbit proof fencing with the addition of dropbox traps, this is especially helpful in situations where areas are difficult to gain access to, like a motorway or railway embankment. Shooting also plays an important role especially with the aid of night vision, thermal imaging a suitable calibre rifle for the intended control area.
